Beyonce, Andre 3000 Cover Amy Winehouse for 'Great Gatsby' Soundtrack
Any time a pop singer tries to cover a recently deceased vocalist, the Internet wrings its hands, furrows its brow and cautiously makes "Tsk tsk" sounds of disapproval.
Unless it's Beyonce, to which conventional rules of time and space do not apply.
According to E! Online, B will duet with Andre 3000 to cover Amy Winehouse's "Back to Black" for the upcoming The Great Gatsby soundtrack. Jay-Z, aka Mr. Knowles, is producing the soundtrack to the Baz Luhrmann-directed flick.
Last we heard on the "Andre 3000 is involved in movies" front, the OutKast rapper was recording new versions of Beatles and Elvis Presley tracks for the upcoming Jimi Hendrix biopic. Add this one to his resumé.
This'll be the second time the two have collaborated, with Andre appearing on Bey's 2011 track "Party."
