Flaming Lips leader Wayne Coyne is the latest musician to jump aboard the Ask Me Anything Reddit train, and in the candid Q&A session he revealed some big news: The Oklahoma psych band is working on a full-length album with the inimitable Ke$ha. Let the freak flags fly!
Coyne had plenty ebullient blurts of love for Ke$ha, who he first worked with on the Lips' star-studdent comp Heady Fwends: "She is a blast on all levels. She's funny, she's humble. She's badass. She's everything. She's awesome," he wrote.
Coyne even leaked the album's genius title: Lip$sha.
Coyne also had deep thoughts on the glitter content of Ke$ha's blood: "Yes and it's VERY glittery. It came out of vagina that way. That's the truth."
Although the session successfully concluded without the use of the c-word, there was a healthy amount of talk on subjects ranging from oral sex- and fire-crazed fans to Miles Davis. Enjoy the read... we certainly did.
