As I Lay Dying's frontman Tim Lambesis was arrested yesterday for soliciting an undercover detective to kill his estranged wife, according to Southern California authorities.
The San Diego sheriff's department said detectives received information last Thursday that the lead singer of the metalcore outfit was looking for a hitman to kill his wife. An investigation led to Lambesis' arrest Tuesday afternoon but the authorities did not provide further details.
