Blake Shelton Organizing Benefit Concert for Oklahoma Tornado Victims
With 24 dead and the town of Moore, Oklahoma, totally decimated by a tornado, Blake Shelton is stepping up to the plate to help raise money for the victims of the disaster.
The country star and Voice coach told Billboard he's organizing a televised benefit concert on NBC in the very near future that might involve an R&B megastar. "I can call in some really big favors," Shelton reportedly told Billboard while motioning to his Voice competitor Usher. And it's a pretty safe bet that his wife Miranda Lambert—who lives with Shelton just 100 miles from the tornado's destruction—will be part of the concert as well.
"We'll know more about it in the next 24 hours," Shelton said. "Obviously it will be televised and will happen really quickly." But there's no need to wait—you can donate to the Red Cross right now.
