(Un)Happy World Goth Day!

World Goth Day, May 22, is not only a real day, but it’s the one day of the year when you’re allowed to feel dark and ghoulish and it’s totally okay. According to the World Goth Day official website, it’s “a day where the goth scene gets to celebrate its own being and an opportunity to make its presence known to the rest of the world.”

What better way to celebrate the darkness of the occult than with a playlist full of goth tunes from the likes of The Cult, The Cure, Depeche Mode and more. Rock along (solemnly) to some of our favorite, most goth songs while you’re sharpening your black eyeliner or having a séance in your basement. B.Y.O.S.: bring your own sadness.
