Vancouver police say Glee star Cory Monteith, who played Finn on the Fox's hit show, was found dead in a Vancouver hotel room Saturday. Monteith was 31.

CNN is reporting the actor checked into the Fairmont Pacific Rim Hotel a week ago on July 6, and hotel staff discovered his body yesterday, July 13, when he missed his checkout.

The cause of death is still unknown, however police believe there is no foul play involved.

In June 2011 Monteith told Parade magazine about past substance abuse, admitting he "had a serious problem." In April of this year a representative for the actor confirmed he was heading to rehab for an unspecified addiction.

It seemed Monteith was recently back on track, as he was seen last month smiling on a red carpet with girlfriend, and fellow Glee star, Lea Michele.

An autopsy is planned for Monday.
