Check Out the James Franco-Designed 'Yeezus' Cover
Jay-Z might be the one rapping all over NYC's Pace Gallery, but don't count Kanye West out of the art game. We already knew about his own aesthetic skills—'Ye recently teamed up with hipster clothing line A.P.C. for a line of jeans—but now his famous friends are flaunting their artistic prowess. (By friends, of course, we mean other famous people.)
GQ took a handful of posters with the Yeezus (non) cover and the words "Please add graffiti" printed on them and sent them to five artists, including a graffiti artist, a tattoo artist and an "Internet wild child." Above is the one they got back from "thespian" James Franco, who said about his drawing, "I was asked to get axed in an American Psycho-themed commercial for Kanye, but instead of getting cut up, I made a cut-up American Psycho piece for him."
Wait. So instead of James Franco, Yeezy got his kinda-sorta brother-in-law Scott Disick for that commercial?! Kris Kardashian is unstoppable.
Check out more of the artist inspired Yeezus covers over at GQ.
