Lamb of God Touring With Killswitch Engage This Fall!
The must-see metal tour of 2013 has finally arrived: Virginia metal masters Lamb of God are teaming with Massachusetts metalcore outfit Killswitch Engage for a 28-date North American tour this fall.
The friend bands (who've shared stages in the past) have been eager to hit the road together for some time. Killswitch axeman Joel Stroetzel was one of the many musicians who vocally supported Lamb of God frontman Randy Blythe when he faced manslaughter charges in relation to the death of a Czech fan (Blythe was eventually acquitted). "Everyone in our camp was shocked to hear about what Randy has been going through," Stroetzel said after the manslaughter charges were filed last year. "A death is always a tragic thing, but Randy certainly does not deserve such accusations."
This 2013 fall tour—featuring thrash pioneers Testament and Cali metal heads Huntress as the supporting acts—kicks off in Canada before working its way into New York on October 25. Check out the full dates below and rejoice at this piece of the press release: "They have made sure to keep the ticket prices as low as possible so that all of their fans can come out and have a good time with them on this tour."
