Bad news for Mariah Carey: According to New York Post, the singer was rushed to a hospital this week after dislocating her shoulder while shooting a video for the remix of her hit "#Beautiful."
“Mariah was injured while filming a video for the remix of #Beautiful, directed by her husband Nick Cannon," said her rep. “She was taken to hospital late [Sunday] night, where doctors reset her shoulder. She is fine and is recovering at home.”
Carey was in New York filing the video and preparing for her free July 13 concert at Central Park's Great Lawn to benefit Hurricane Sandy Relief. Despite the injury, that show will go on as planned.
Things appeared to go smoother last week, when the singer released "Hermosa," the Spanglish remix of "#Beautiful" with Miguel.
No word yet, though, on when Carey's now-delayed album will be released.
