Baby Fetuses & Poppies Galore: Director's Cut of Nirvana's "Heart-Shaped Box" Video
Nirvana's iconic and bizarre "Heart-Shaped Box" video just got a little longer/creepier/more awesome.
To celebrate the 20th anniversary of In Utero, the late Seattle alt-rock/grunge band are reissuing their third and final album, complete with loads of extras, including a director's cut of Anton Corbijn's eerie video. Which means the video's two stars—an obese woman wearing a muscle suit and angel wings, and a little girl in a white KKK robe reaching for baby fetuses hanging from a tree—receive significantly more screen time. Also: More of Kurt Cobain rolling around in those lush, lipstick-red poppy fields.
In the words of a wise man you may remember from TV in the '90s: "Huhuuhuhhhhhh, come to Butt-Head."
