Jeezy's No Longer "Young" But Still Obsessed With Trap on "In My Head"
Earlier this month, Young Jeezy officially changed his name to just "Jeezy," because at 36, he's a man, dammit!
Now the Atlanta rapper has released "In My Head," his first single as Jeezy. And as you might expect, Jeezy's work sounds suspiciously similar to a recently-retired rapper named Young Jeezy.
"In My Head" fixates on the idea that no matter what Jeezy does in life, he's got "trap sh-t in my head." In keeping with that theme, this straightforward banger is pure trap (but not sh-t).
Jeezy also revealed he's working on a new album with Usher, Ludacris, and fellow ATL spitter Future, which may or may not include "In My Head." Watch him talk about his first album as Jeezy below.
