After revealing he was working on two albums simultaneously, Beck has confirmed that one of them will drop this February.

Entitled Morning Phase, this record will be a "companion piece" to Sea Change, his acoustic heartbreak opus from 2002, according to a press release. In fact, many of the musicians who played on Sea Change—Justin Meldal-Johnsen, Joey Waronker, Smokey Hormel, Roger Joseph Manning Jr. and Jason Falkner—back him on Morning Phase.

This album will be Beck's first release with Capitol Records after leaving Interscope, the major label that has released his last three albums. The exact release date and tracklisting for Morning Phase have not yet been unveiled. In the meantime, watch Beck cover Michael Jackson and T. Rex in Paris.
