Aussie Producer Flume Taps Ghostface, Killer Mike for Rap Mixtape
Australian DJ/producer Flume had such success with his 2012 self-titled debut studio album—he beat out One Direction for the top spot on the Aussie music charts—that he decided to re-release a four-disc deluxe edition of the LP. Lucky for rap fans, one of the discs is a hip hop mixtape.
Featuring heavy hitters Ghostface Killah, Killer Mike, Twin Shadow and more, the nine-track mixtape drops November 12 digitally and December 10 in hard copy. Check out the first track, "Intro" featuring Maybach Music Group's Stalley, above.
More good news for the 21-year-old producer: Flume has been nominated for eight ARIA awards, the Australian record industry’s flagship awards. The announcement comes days after the "Holdin On" DJ swept Australia's Independent Music Awards, taking home four trophies.
