If you heard about a James Blake remix of a Drake track, you'd probably think it would sound like a makeout session come to life. But that's not the case this time.
Blake's remix of Drake's Nothing Was the Same bonus track "Come Thru" is more synthy than sexy, which isn't usually the British soul singer's thing. See: "Life Round Here," his collabo with Chance the Rapper and the creepy/lovely slow jam "Overgrown."
It was his album of the same name that recently won Blake Britain's prestigious Mercury Prize. "I feel jubilant and confused, wonderful," Blake told The Independent about his win. "It's a moment you don’t expect to happen to you, in fact you might even bet against it if you’re British."
James Blake is currently on tour in the U.S. through mid November.
