Jack White and everyone at Third Man Records are getting into the holiday spirit!

To aid the Nashville Rescue Mission, a community center that helps the homeless and hungry, the record label is launching the Great Third Man Turkey Drive. According to Third Man's website, "every person who brings a turkey or needed items equal to the cost of a turkey to Third Man will receive a free 7" of their choice." And the options are impressive: Beckthe ShinsAlabama Shakes and, of course, White and his bands the White Stripes, the Raconteurs and the Dead Weather, have all released 7" singles on Third Man.

"This time of year it's always important to remember those in less fortunate situations than ourselves," reads the label's announcement, "and Third Man is no exception. For many reasons we absolutely love our neighborhood. From day one, everyone in our corner of Nashville has been extremely welcoming and hospitable to us, as well as tolerant of our many crazy schemes, long lines, late night shows, weekend block orientated functions, etcetera etcetera…

At the top of this list is the Nashville Rescue Mission, and we'd like to give a little something back to our friends over there and the many hungry, homeless and hurting people they help every day."

And there's incentive for cleaning out the local grocery store and delivering the scrumptious holiday fixins before the drive ends on November 26: the person who brings the most turkeys (or items equal to the amount of a turkey, $25), will walk away with the very rare Dead Weather Triple Decker record, which is currently listed on eBay for $1,100!

Now get into the holiday spirit, just like Jack White and Third Man Records!
