UPDATE (1/21): Kelly Clarkson announced the sex of her baby via a semi-TMI Twitter post. "We just found out we're having a girl officially!" the American Idol alum wrote to her 9.3 million followers. "I knew it! Only a girl could cause this much drama with all this vomiting ha!"
The reveal comes after a series of Twitter updates on Clarkson's morning sickness including, "Didn't throw up once from pregnancy while walking my dogs #smallvictory" and "Ladies if you are pregnant & sick as a dog trust me when I say the one thing u will keep down might just be 'baked potatoes' #godblesspotatoes."
On January 9, the singer said she was due in "less than six months." So, start anticipating adorable photos of that toddler diva in late June/early July. But seriously, can you imagine the pipes this girl is going to have?
Original Story: Just a month after her secret wedding to Brandon Blackstock, Kelly Clarkson announced that she's pregnant. This will be Kelly's first child and Brandon's third after a previous relationship.
"I'm pregnant!!!" Kelly tweeted Wednesday night. "Brandon and I are so excited! Best early Christmas present ever :)"
Pregnancy is what tends to happen when a couple is "trying like rabbits" as Kelly recently told Jay Leno. In fact, the "Tie It Up" singer was probably pregnant when she sat down with the late night host last week, which would explain why she dodged the question. "We are not announcing anything right now," she told Leno.
