Taylor Swift Crowned Top "Celeb Gone Good"
With the possibility of a new album drop early in the New Year, Taylor Swift's career is going strong. But the sweetest thing in popmusic cares about more than just topping the charts and her recent spot at the top of DoSomething.org's annual Celebs Gone Good list proves it.
Mind you, Tay didn't come by this honor easily—2013 was quite the year for musician good deed doing:
There was Drake delivering lots of cash to the homeless, there was Jack White's generous donation to the National Recording Preservation Fund…
Hell, even 2013 naughty-lister Justin Bieber lent a helping hand in the Philippines after Typhoon Haiyan!
So, what did little Taylor Swift do to earn her coveted spot at the top of the A-lister altruism totem pole?
DoSomething gave serious props to Miss Swift for her $100,000 gift to the struggling Nashville Symphony on her b-day this year and her headlining stint for a fundraiser to raise money for homeless youths.
Taylor also handed over a whopping $4 million to help build the Country Music Hall of Fames's new Taylor Swift Education Center.
Talk about a good girl gone good!
