Wale Threatens Reporter

FUSE TV - Wale Threatens Reporter

It appears Wale has moved on from his lighter yucking-it-up-with-Jerry-Seinfeld side.

The D.C. rapper recently lost it on a Complex magazine reporter for not including him in their Top 50 Albums of 2013 list.

According to Complex, they received a phone call from the rapper after posting their year end list earlier this week. The call lasted 3 minutes (you can listen to the full audio here) and consisted of an expletive filled rage-out in which Wale insisted that the mag had a personal bias against him.

"At this point, you know it’s got to be personal," he said. "You telling me it’s not personal. It's like a bold face lie. To be omitted from every type of list that y’all do or be at the bottom of it or every type of way that y’all can omit me, ya will.”

Apparently he was particularly appalled by the suggestion that one rapper in particular had a better album than his third studio effort The Gifted (which dropped June 25th).

"You mean to tell me Juicy J album better than mine? Is that what you trying to tell me?" he inquired.

The above may not come as too much of surprise, after all the "Sunshine" rapper did make headlines back in August for responding to Kendrick Lamar's diss on"Control" by stating:

"I still feel like I'm the best rapper on the planet. And you should, too."

So, we already knew his stance on the way the rest of the world should feel about his music, but what happened next was pretty surprising.

After the reporter tried to speak Wale started screaming and personally threatening the staff:

"I swear to God I’ll come to that office and start knocking n-ggas the f-ck out! You want to see some ghetto ignorant sh-t?! That’s what y’all promote! That’s the only thing y’all promote from n-ggas, is ghetto ignorant sh-t!"

In less shocking news, requests by Complex to hug-it-all-out in an actual interview were promptly denied.
