Beyonce Hits Up White House for First Lady's 50th Birthday
The President of the United States previously promised big things for First Lady Michelle Obama's 50th birthday. And he certainly kept his promise as yesterday's White House soiree featured a performance by Beyonce—and, at this moment, it really doesn't get any bigger than that.
And from the looks of the adorbs pics Ms. Carter posted on her Tumblr, she—and the newest member of the Obama clan, pup Sunny—had a great time.
It's hard not to look gorgeous when you're Beyonce, but the flapper-esque, curve-hugging dress she chose for the night took fabulous to a whole new level.
But the musical star power didn't stop with just B. John Legend also crooned his way into Michelle's heart and the likes of Jennifer Hudson, Mary J. Blige, Smoky Robinson and Stevie Wonder were simply there to party.
This is hardly Beyonce's first brush with the most powerful couple in the United States.
The "XO" singer also performed at President Obama's first Inaugural Ball in 2009 and then sang the National Anthem at last year's official inauguration.
If you don't recall Beyonce-National-Anthem-lip-sync-Gate, she admitted to singing along with a pre-recorded track, but slaughtered the haters a week later with this.
As always, it's good to be Beyonce.
As for us, we're still mulling over the fact that we're extremely jealous of a giant, puffy dog.
