U2 & Will Smith To Join Jimmy Fallon on His 'Tonight Show' Debut
On February 17, the biggest regime change of the 21st century will go down when Jimmy Fallon takes over The Tonight Show from Jay Leno. And to help him ring in his reign, Fallon is bringing along some A-list talent: U2 and Will Smith.
The Fresh Prince-turned-acting giant has delivered comedic gold with Fallon before. In a 2012 appearance on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon, Smith & Fallon showed a vintage clip of their "grandfathers" working together on a musical revue from the 1920s (watch it below). As for U2, well… no one has ever accused Bono of being hilarious (at least not intentionally), but it's safe to say the Oscar-nominated rockers can deliver a peerless performance as the night's musical guest.
When Leno leaves The Tonight Show (for the second time) on February 6, the longtime host will bring in resurgent country star Garth Brooks for his last musical guest and Billy Crystal as his final interview.
