Echosmith is more than just a band—they're family. Literally.
The indie pop quartet is made up of four siblings—Jamie, Noah, Sydney and Graham Sierota—hailing from Southern California. Their debut album, Talking Dreams, is out now and they're set to hit the road with Warped Tour for the second year in a row this April.
"We all grew up in a very musical household," guitarist Jamie tells Fuse in the interview above. "There was music around all the time. Our dad is a producer, but we all picked up our instruments individually with no intent of starting a band." But once they started playing together as a unit, they couldn't stop. "We got a couple opportunities to play together a couple years ago, and we've been doing it since," he says.
After winnowing down a roster of 80 songs into their 12-track debut, Echosmith embarked on Warped Tour last year, and even popped up on Fuse's original series Warped Roadies. Lead singer Sydney describes that tour as "two of the best months of my life," so obviously, she and her brothers are super stoked to get back on the road this year with Warped Tour 2014.
