5 February Music Releases Fuse's Georgie Okell is Excited About

It's the beginning of February. It's humpday. So, here are five new and upcoming releases that will get you through this week, this month, and this weather:

Broken Bells - After The Disco (Out Now)

The highly anticipated sophomore project from Danger Mouse and James Mercer of the Shins is out this week, and sounds like a very confident and polished follow up to their 2010 debut. Listen to "Holding on For Life" now:

MØ - No Mythologies To Follow (Feb. 25)

The much protracted lead up to the debut album release from Danish singer-songwriter and Diplo collaborator is almost over. No Mythologies To Follow will be with us later this month, and though it will contain five previously released tracks, there's still plenty of new material, with 20 tracks in total. Here is "XXX 88," featuring Diplo:

Lo-Fang - Blue Film (Feb. 25)

This month will mark the debut album release from LA producer Lo-Fang, an album recorded and written during his world travels from Maryland to Cambodia and back to LA. Incorporating weird riffs and warbling vocals, all channeled into worldly-sounding pop, this should be a brilliant record. Watch the video for "Look Away" now:

Tomas Barfod - "Pulsing (feat. Nina K)" (Feb. 18)

Dark synths, dark vocals and a dark video somehow make for a surprisingly addictive tune from the Danish/Swedish duo. Watch the video now:

Cyril Hahn & Javeon - "Breaking" (Streaming Now)

This just appeared on Soundcloud this past Monday and is already making my week. A collaboration between one of my all time favorite producers and one of my new favorite artists. No release date confirmed on this yet, but you can listen to it on repeat to your heart's content. I know I will be.
