2014 Winter Olympians' Pump-Up Songs: Beyonce, Avicii, Adele & More
It's not easy to make it to the Winter Olympics. For the hours of training required, one certainly needs the perfect playlist to accompany those grueling workouts.
Throughout the 2014 games, Team USA athletes have revealed the music that gets them pumped. It turns out their tastes are as eclectic as the different Winter Olympics events.
Hockey forward Julie Chu, a three-time Olympic medalist, told Huffington Post she digs Hunter Hayes and Eric Church, saying, "I love working out to country music because I can usually sing along." Meanwhile, skier Emily Cook says said "anything by Adele" is her pick for a pump-up jam. And thousands YouTube viewers know how much luger Kate Hansen (above) loves Beyonce, so much that Queen Bey herself posted a "Go Kate!" shoutout to the singer's 56 million Facebook followers.
As you watch Team USA make us proud—we're currently tied for first!—listen to the music that keeps them going with the Spotify playlist below, made up of songs they've handpicked as their workout faves.
And below that, check out the full list of the Olympians and their playlists.
