Super Bowl XLVIII Red Carpet: Fuse Chats With Gabby Douglas, Mitt Romney & More

When Fuse got backstage access to Super Bowl XLVIII, we ran into a lot of surprising football fans, including Olympian Gabby Douglas, former Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney, actor Kevin Costner and comedian/actor Denis Leary.

Almost everyone we chatted with was pumped about the Pepsi Super Bowl XLVIII Halftime Show featuring Bruno Mars and the Red Hot Chili Peppers, but Romney admitted he had a favorite. Turns out Mitt is a bit of a Hooligan! "I listen to more Bruno than I do the Red Hot Chili Peppers, but I like 'em both," he answered (diplomatically, of course).

"I love Bruno Mars, my favorite song is 'Just the Way You Are,'" gold-medalist Gabby Douglas tells Fuse. "I know a little of the Red Hot Chili Peppers. 'Give It Away,' I did that song on Rock Band."

As for actor/comedian Denis Leary, he didn't care who was performing (although he did tell us he plays hockey with RHCP drummer Chad Smith, so that's awesome). "I love football and the Super Bowl is a football game," Leary says. "All I want is the commercials to be shorter and the music to be over as fast as it can, 'cause I'm here for a football game! I hope Bruno Mars is great, but I hope he plays for a minute and a half, because I want to get back to football."

Bruno played a killer set... for 12-and-a-half minutes longer than what Denis Leary was hoping for.
