Listen to Arcade Fire Cover Prince's "Controversy"
Last night Arcade Fire honored Prince in his hometown of Minneapolis by covering "Controversy," the classic title track off his fourth album.
The Canadian-based band played last night at the Target Center in Minneapolis on the second stop off their Reflektor Tour, and was broadcasted live on Minnesota Public Radio station The Current.
Frontman Win Butler wore an artsy illuminated box over his head depicting Prince's face as he sang along to the 1981-hit song, then switched over to a box featuring the face of Republican politician Michele Bachmann. Controversial! Check out the live track below.
