Frank Ocean has not been shy about teasing the follow-up to his stunning debut channel ORANGE, but now we have confirmation he's in the studio working on a full-length album. Yesterday, the photographer and visual artist Nabil posted a photo to Instagram showing Ocean poring over a mixing board with the caption, "Frank in the lab.. Making sophomore album game."
Recently, Ocean hinted that the album will take its cues from the Beatles and the Beach Boys, saying he would "see how it trickles into the music and the final product." Last summer in Europe, he debuted a number of new songs that followed in that direction.
There's no indication when the album may be released, but any news is good news. That Clash/Diplo/Frank Ocean collabo left us hungry.
