Linkin Park & Rakim Drop Interactive "Guilty All the Same" Video
UPDATE: Linkin Park and the legendary Rakim just debuted an interactive clip for their "Guilty All the Same" collabo that's more video game than music video. Created via Project Spark—which allows users to craft their own virtual worlds—the clip allows users to play around with both the song and the fantasy virtual world of the video. Check it out above.
3/6 Story: Linkin Park just revealed they're going on tour with an Oscar-winner this year—30 Seconds to Mars' Jared Leto—so it's only fitting they follow that announcement with an equally impressive collaboration. On their new track "Guilty All the Same," the alt-rockers team up with New York rapper Rakim, an MC who's arguably the most influential rapper of all time (no, we're not forgetting 'Pac or Biggie).
The new Linkin Park joint is more aggressive and propulsive than their last album Living Things, which 1) Is sure to please longtime fans and 2) Will probably sound great in concert. As for Rakim, the Paid In Full rapper is still in top form lyrically on his fiery, commanding verse, which kicks in at the 3:40 mark.
Listen to "Guilty As of Late" below or get it on the Shazam app, and check out our interview with Chester Bennington, Mike Shinoda and Jared Leto from earlier this week, where Shinoda explains why he felt guilty rooting for the 30STM singer's Oscar win.
