Katy Perry may have cruised through Candyland in her "California Gurls" video, but the pop star is the one baking the sweets in her lyric video for new single "Birthday." While lyrics vids are usually just the simple way to say, "Hey, this is my new single, here are the word,s" this one is just as view-worthy—if not more—than most videos today.
Watch above as the Prism singer plays a baker and unveils a slew of desserts decorated with the lyrics to her funky new single. There's cupcakes, macarons, jars of candy and a handful of custom-made cakes—look out for the seven-layer rainbow cake—all to accompany the sugar-sweet hooks.
