Lil Boosie Announces Post-Prison Album, Plans to Release Two LPs in 2014
In an interview with Complex, Louisiana rapper Lil Boosie revealed the details for his first album post-prison. The upcoming, untitled release will drop July 15 and features guest spots from 2 Chainz, T.I., Young Jeezy and more.
After spending five years in prison on drug-related charges, the 31-year-old MC said he has written over a thousand songs and plans on releasing two full-lengths this year.
"I ain't wanna come home and play with the mixtape game, I wanted to come home and hit 'em hard," the rapper explained. "So right now, it is a Boosie takeover. I’m tryna soak my raw oats. That’s basically the idea. I am just trying to go in and go hard. You know, I slept too many days.”
