Last night in Brooklyn, music legends like Peter Gabriel, Cat Stevens, Kiss, and yes, Nirvana, were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Michael Stipe was chosen to honor the grunge pioneers, saying they "tapped into a voice that was yearning to be heard."

A few of those voices on hand for the ceremony lent their musical talents in an all-star tribute to Nirvana's work. With Dave Grohl on drums and Krist Novoselic on bass and accordion, they invited Joan Jett to sing "Smells Like Teen Spirit," St. Vincent to perform "Lithium," and Lorde to play "All Apologies." Sonic Youth's Kim Gordon also sat in throughout the jam session.

After the ceremony, they continued the festivities at Saint Vitus, a 230-person capacity bar in the Greenpoint section of Brooklyn. Videos from both locations have emerged; Watch them below!
