Watch Pharrell Perform on 'Saturday Night Live'
Pharrell’s megawatt charm, and an Arby’s hat replica, made their appearance on a very musically-themed episode of Saturday Night Live.
The late-night sketch comedy show began with host Anna Kendrick's monologue in which she sang, along with the entire cast, about her excitement over being on the show to the tune of Beauty and The Beast’s "Little Town."
And the joyfulness continued with Pharrell's first song of the evening, his GRAMMY award-winning, and chart-topping, "Happy." The producer/artist (basically jack-of-all-trades) was backed by a young and spirited dance troupe that filled the stage, clapping and stomping to a rousing choreographed routine.
For his second number, Pharrell performed "Marilyn Monroe," the first track off his new solo record G I R L, led by composer Hans Zimmer and a string orchestra. Zimmer contributed string arrangements to the new album. Check out the performances below.
