We know that Action Bronson has been hanging out in the kitchen (and at the dinner table) lately, but it turns out the rapper/foodie vet has been frequenting the studio just as much--and he's got a new record coming to prove it.
He couldn't contain his enthusiasm about Mr. Wonderful while gushing about the record to NME as he tours his way through the UK: "The whole album is a standout. I don't care about individual songs, I'm trying to make a complete, classic project. I just do my music uninfluenced by anybody else, or current trends, and it comes together at the end. Nothing needs to have a f--king theme all the time. This is just rap. I'm not trying to make people think I'm some sort of scientific wizard or inspirational poet. F--k that! It's just happy, funny, rugged, rough rap."
Mr. Wonderful will serve as Action Bronson's major label debut, his first full-length since 2011's Dr. Lecter. In the meantime, AB will keep busy with F--k, That's Delicious, his new web series that follows his culinary adventures, his current run of dates in the UK and a set at Detroit's Movement Festival next week.
Hopefully the new stuff riffs plenty about milkshakes and other treats.
