Earlier this week Internet exploded when footage of Beyonce's sister Solange attacking brother-in-law Jay Z surfaced. The incident went down in an elevator at New York's Standard Hotel. The hotel later released a statement, claiming they were "shocked and disappointed that there was a clear breach of our security system."
BBC reports that the employee responsible for releasing the tape has been fired for "breaching the security polices of the hotel and recording the confidential CCTV video." According to 'net rumors, the guy earned $250,000 for selling the tape to TMZ.
The hotel added that they would hand over "all available information to criminal authorities."
No comment from team Jay/Bey/Ange.
