If there was any doubt about 2014 being the Year of Pharrell Williams, that's long since disintegrated. In addition to his own ridiculously lucrative career as both a performer and a producer, Pharrell's now branching out into sports: he's kicking off football season with an opening performance alongside Ariana Grande, and it was just announced that he's the brains behind NBA 2K15's amazing, all-inclusive video game soundtrack.

27 songs deep, NBA 2K15's tunes leave no genre stone unturned, with gamers set to shoot hoops while listening to everything from rap anthems to '80s jukebox staples to pop standards that've earned a permanent spot on your "Recently Played" playlist.

Favorite picks come from Pharrell's own collaborations and production credits (Major Lazer's "Aerosol Can;" Snoop Dogg's "Drop It Like It's Hot;" "Can I Have It Like That" featuring Gwen Stefani), but the variability heard on NBA 2K15 is what makes this soundtrack a musical force to be reckoned with. (Black Rebel Motorcycle Club and Santigold on the same playlist?! So into it.)
