Tyga Weighs Success & Fame on Kanye-Produced Single "40 Mill"

UPDATE (10/15): Listen to the full version of Tyga's "40 Mill" above. Kanye offers a heavy trap beat garnished with ominous synths that back Tyga's debate of wanting his success to bring him riches, but not actual fame. Listen up for a Hilary Swank reference.

Original Story: "I don't wanna be famous / I just wanna be rich:" it's not much, but the first lines from Tyga's forthcoming record cut right to the chase on "40 Mill."

The rapper shared the first snippet from his Kanye West-produced track this afternoon, which will be featured on his forthcoming record, The Gold Album: 18th Dynasty. Photos of 'Ye and Tyga in the studio started popping up earlier this year, and Lil Wayne was even a little jealous of the fact that Yeezus was taking the young rapper under his artistic wing in some capacity. First come track sneak peeks via social media, then come single premieres, and then come the real deal via videos or album drops, so here's hoping we'll get our hands on The Gold Album sooner rather than later.

Tyga's also been at work with other collaborators, though not on his own material: most recently he popped up on tracks by Danity KaneJustin Bieber and Chris Brown, so he's been hanging out with excellent company while keeping the rest of his work a secret 'til now.
