Calvin Harris' Gets Back to Basics on Instrumental Track "Slow Acid"
We've come to expect Top 40 gold and catchy hooks from EDM boss Calvin Harris, but this new instrumental track off his forthcoming record is turning our heads in the best possible way.
Without lyrics, "Slow Acid" is entirely open to interpretation, and the visual that corresponds with Harris' latest is futuristic, gritty and surreal. The Emil Nava-directed video for "Slow Acid" reaches Alice in Wonderland-esque levels of "WTF?!" when a woman with silver skin downs a mysterious liquor and proceeds to wreak havoc. She holds up a convenience store and starts to lose it, and the question we're left asking isn't an all too unfamiliar one at the end of a long night: What the hell did she drink?
