America's favorite singing competition just got some great news. The Voice's original female coach Christina Aguilera will make her return to the show for the forthcoming eighth season while current coach Pharrell has signed on for another go. Longtime coaches Adam Levine and Blake Shelton will stay on for another season too.

It's been nearly a year since we've seen Xtina on The Voice after she took Season 6 off to let Shakira get a second turn in the spinny chair. She then sat out Season 7 to have her baby, letting Gwen Stefani try coaching on for size.

Meanwhile, with original coach Cee Lo Green officially departing, hitmaker extraordinaire Pharrell will charm the pants off America for another season.

And of course, everyone's favorite odd couple Levine and Shelton will keep their seats.

The Season 8 coaching lineup breaks tradition for the show, which has seen two coaches departing each season since its fourth rendition.

Christina, welcome back. Pharrell, glad you're staying with us. Adam and Blake, never change.
