J. Cole announced in mid-November that his third album, 2014 Forest Hills Drive, was mere weeks away and wouldn't see any singles or videos beforehand. But a new leak has us spinning "Fire Squad," and it sounds like Jermaine's got a lot on his mind.

Cole starts the song (which will appear on the album) with a few run-of-the-mill verses and hooks before launching into a final act that calls out EminemIggy AzaleaMacklemore and Justin Timberlake all by name. What's the charge? Take it away, J:

"While silly n****s argue over who gon' snatch the crown / Look around my n***a, white people have snatched the sound / This year I’ll probably go to the awards dappered down / Watch Iggy win a GRAMMY as I try to crack a smile"

Cole's quick to say he's "just playin', but all good jokes contain true shit." Like how Macklemore swept the rap awards at the GRAMMYs earlier this year, defeating artists like Kendrick LamarDrakeKanye West and Jay Z, and then texted "you got robbed" to K-Dot?

It feels like Cole's disses might be more about the racism he witnesses in American culture—a topic he painfully delved into over the summer with his Michael Brown tribute "Be Free"—than about the artists themselves. After all, it was only a year ago that Cole jumped on a remix of Timberlake's own "TKO." (He was actually testy on that cut, too, responding viciously to Kendrick Lamar's controversial "Control" verse despite the fact they've teamed up multiple times.) We'll have to see if anyone comes for Cole over "Fire Squad." Iggy was awfully quick to respond to a recent ugly reference from Eminem...
