Listen to DJ Mustard's Take On Beyoncé's "7/11"
When the platinum edition of Beyoncé's revolutionary self-titled visual album dropped at the tail end of 2014, the tried-and-true faves were all present and accounted for ("Drunk In Love," "Flawless," "Partition," etc.). What caught the most attention were the two new tracks casually thrown into the mix. Now, one of the hottest producers of the year has reworked one of 'em, and we can't stop listening to it.
Check out DJ Mustard's highly danceable treatment of "7/11," the sneak attack of a single Bey dropped out of nowhere that she shot for approximately twelve whole dollars in a hotel room while on tour. The low-budget jam is high on the addictive scale, but Mustard's club-ready re-work is just as much of an earworm.
