Gerard Way, Ellen Page & More Sing Sleater-Kinney's "No Cities To Love"

What do Gerard Way, Fred Armisen, Ellen Page, Andy Samberg, Sarah Silverman and Natasha Lyonne all have in common? Besides the fact that they're a bunch of super famous musicians and actors, they're all Sleater-Kinney fans!

It's been ten years since we last heard from the Washingtonian indie trio with 2005's The Woods, so fans were overjoyed when they heard that Carrie Brownstein, Corin Tucker and Janet Weiss would be heading back into the studio to reunite and rock again. To celebrate, they had a bunch of their friends sing along to the title track from No Cities To Love, and they mashed up the clips into one video for the single.

Gerard Way is a natural, as you can see above, and director/actor/author Miranda July gets extra points for the most enthusiastic contribution to the video. Kind of disappointed that Samberg didn't throw any freestyling the Lonely Island would be proud of into the mix, but he's clearly into it as well.

No Cities To Love drops January 20, and you can stream it in the meantime over at NPR.
