Original Story: Bobbi Kristina Brown, 21-year-old daughter of Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown was rushed to a hospital after reportedly being found unresponsive in a bathtub in her Atlanta-area home. The incident comes almost exactly three years after Bobbi Kristina's mother passed from what was officially deemed an "accidental drowning," in part due to atherosclerotic heart disease and cocaine use. Whitney Houston was also unresponsive in a bathtub.
There are confusing, conflicting reports about Bobby Kristina's condition, but Bobby Brown did issue a statement confirming the hospitalization to Us Weekly.
"Privacy is requested in this matter," Brown said. "Please allow for my family to deal with this matter and give my daughter the love and support she needs at this time."
Reuters cites a Roswell, Georgia police report indicating Bobbi Kristina was found in a filled bathtub, face down, by husband Nick Gordon and a friend. She was revived by Gordon and the police through CPR before being rushed to the hospital.
When Whitney passed in 2012, a then-18-year-old Bobbi Kristina was taken to a Los Angeles hospital for extreme stress and anxiety.
