"I'm working with a couple of new projects that I don't want to unveil, and then me and Beyoncé and Jay Z are actually doing something together this year," says Detail, who was instrumental in writing "Drunk in Love," "How to Love" and "Love Is All You Need" (okay, JK on that last one) among tons of other pop and hip hop cuts.
The night's R&B Song award for "Drunk in Love" was Detail's first GRAMMY. (Beyoncé also got a trophy off the track for Best R&B Performance.)
The Jay Z/Beyoncé album rumor has been floating around for a few months. Detail elucidated: "When you think of Jay and Bey together, you think 'album.' You should already know," said Detail, who also produced Jennifer Lopez's 2014 hit "I Luh Ya Papi." Billboard pressed Detail about if the Jay-Bey album would hit in 2015: "In my imaginary mind, I will work to say it's true." So make of that what you will. If the album exists and it's half as good as the astonishing On the Run Tour, we're sitting over our planners with a pen ready.
