10 Worst GRAMMY Snubs of the Last Decade

#12005: Jay Z's 'Black Album' Loses to Kanye West's 'College Dropout' for Best Rap Album

Sure, Kanye West's debut album is a classic, and Jay Z already had a Best Rap Album trophy for 1998's Vol. 2…Hard Knock Life. But a discography like Hov's shouldn't be devoid of a second win in the category, and if The Blueprint had to lose in 2001, The Black Album should've gotten it in '05, at the point when everyone thought it was Jay's swan song. Kanye went on to win Best Rap Album for Late Registration, Graduation, and My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy anyway. Whatever, though: Hova's got 19 Grammys. And an Emmy. And a Tony nom. He's good.
