Listen: Kanye West and Wale Heat Things Up on "The Summer League"
Wale's new Seinfeld-loving record, The Album About Nothing, is due March 31. We knew it was set to feature Usher, J. Cole, Jeremih, SZA and Jerry himself. But suddenly, on this third day of spring, we've got a track titled "The Summer League," one with Kanye Yeezus West. It's a non-album cut, but it showed up ready to ball on its own.
Yeezy jumps in for the first verse, going half-Auto-Tune, as he's been wont to do in this year of the sheep/goat/ram. (See: "FourFiveSeconds," "Only One," "Wolves"—three of the four So Help Me God tracks we've heard.) Then Wale shows up to take over and tame the barbecue-ready beat. Listen here:
