Freddie Gibbs and Kaytranada have just dropped "My Dope House," a track from their forthcoming collaboration 7". The Indiana rapper and Canadian producer recorded the track at Red Bull Studios in Los Angeles.
Arriving in stores via HW&W next month, "My Dope House" finds Gibbs weaving a drug–laced tale over a minimal bed of reverb-soaked snare drums and synth stabs.
Earlier this year, Kaytranada released "Drive Me Crazy," a song featuring Vic Mensa that will be included on the producer's upcoming debut album for XL. Kareem Riggins, Reva DeVito, and Shay Lia are other guests slated to appear on the album.
Gibbs' most recent album was Piñata, a collaboration with California producer Madlib. Piñata garnered rave reviews from a variety of music outlets including NME, HipHopDX, and Pitchfork.
