2 Chainz Is Back to the Streets on New Song "Everything I Know"

Trap-a-velli? Check. Trap-a-velli 2? Also check. Trap-a-velli 3? Get ready, y'all.

2 Chainz will release part three of his Trap-a-velli mixtape series, five years to the day since his last, when Trap-a-velli Tre hits this Friday, August 13. To pump up fans, he's released "Everything I Know," the tape's new cut.

Chances are your familiarity with the Atlanta rapper tends toward his goofier side—think his always-fantastic Most Expensivest Shit series for GQ in which he samples, for instance, the world's most expensive water or joint, or his spot on last year's Jason Derulo hit "Talk Dirty." But on "Everything I Know," 2 Chainz is back on the streets, reminiscing about his days hustling and selling drugs.

"The streets have taught me everything I know" he repeats ad nauseam on the chorus before getting into the nitty gritty: "Used to use my safe for a mattress / Used to use my mattress for a safe."

"Everything I Know" is the second song off Trap-a-velli Tre, but the rest is out Friday, making it the rapper's second mixtape of 2015, following January's T.R.U. Jack City. No word, meanwhile, on a new album, which would be his third over all and his first since September 2013's B.O.A.T.S. II: Me Time.
