CyHi The Prynce, the 30-year-old Georgia rapper with nine mixtapes and zero studio albums to his name, just Jerry Maguire-d the shit out of his label boss, Kanye West. CyHi's version of Mr. Show Me the Money's 25-page manifesto is the two-minute, 40-second "Elephant in the Room," a song about shooting up the Def Jam offices with an AK-47, kidnapping Kanye, putting him in the trunk of a car and driving off.
Jesus; mission statements don't come any clearer. And yeah, that is the G.O.O.D. Music logo down in the corner of the cover art, meaning da Prynce just aired out the president on the company intercom. (HotNewHipHop and Spin are saying Def Jam just killed CyHi's contract.)
"Elephant in the Room" complains about Kanye giving shine to Big Sean (three albums) and Pusha T (one album) while CyHi sits in the corner with his one My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy appearance and his two spots on the non-Kanye portions of the Cruel Summer compilation. He's also upset that G.O.O.D.'s Teyana Taylor—who also had to wait years to get an album out—won't have sex with him.
Time to see if Kanye can do to CyHi The Prynce what Drake's done to Meek Mill. Meanwhile, Pusha T tweeted the link to the song.
