Selena Gomez Drops Sassy New Single "Same Old Love"
Update (9/10): It's here! Selena Gomez premiered her new single "Same Old Love" on Vevo and our girl sounds more confident than ever. Similar to how "Good for You" showcased a newfound hip hop-friendly sound for the starlet, this new track is another new sonic venture for Gomez, embracing on a snappy, trappy, jazz-tinged sound with her vocals ringing more forceful and emotive than ever.
The track was co-written by Charli XCX and definitely has some of the British babe's signature sass, best heard in the chorus as Gomez belts in a raspy delivery: "I'm so sick of that same old love / That shit it tears me up / I'm so sick of that same old love / My body's had enough."
It's a more confident, bolder look for Gomez—a much-welcome look after the somewhat-submissive single "Good for You." Check out everything else you need to know about the track below.
