Vanity Fair's September cover girlTaylor Swift, friend of Kanye West. In a preview from the full profile, Tay's dramatic reversal with her "I'mma Let You Finish" nemesis is narrated like so:

“I feel like I wasn’t ready to be friends with [Kanye] until I felt like he had some sort of respect for me, and he wasn’t ready to be friends with me until he had some sort of respect for me—so it was the same issue, and we both reached the same place at the same time. I became friends with Jay Z, and I think it was important, for Jay Z, for Kanye and I to get along. ... And then Kanye and I both reached a place where he would say really nice things about my music and what I’ve accomplished, and I could ask him how his kid’s doing.”

The early snippets also have Taylor talking about her admiration for Oprah and Angelina Jolie, how she and her clique—i.e. the bad bishes of "Bad Blood"—date some of the same guys but never turn on each other, and that wonderful Tumblr post that got Apple Music to change its entire artist-renumeration plan.

"Sometimes I’ll wake up in the middle of the night and I’ll write a song and I can’t sleep until I finish it," she says, "and it was like that with the letter." She wrote it at 4 AM and read it to her mom before posting. She might've tried Kanye but he was probably asleep.
