Update (10/6): In a new interview with New Zealand’s Smash! The Edge, Justin Bieber sort of kind of a little bit calls out One Direction for releasing their album the same day as his highly-anticipated Purpose. He tells the radio hosts, "They’re not really going on the road much, but we’re talking about them right now, so it gives them some promo, right? So, that’s probably why they did it." He later adds, "I think it was strategy on their part because my release date was first. But whatever. It’s whatever. It’s going to be fun. I’m excited to see what happens." Is it getting hot in here or is it just him? Watch the full interview here.
Original Story (9/29): Unless you've been living under a rock and/or away from social media in any capacity, you know One Direction's fifth and mostly-likely final album, Made In The A.M., will drop November 13. That's the same day as Justin Bieber's comeback LP. Teens, get ready to be broke!
It'll be interesting to see who hits No. 1: Biebs with his bad boy gone good makeover or 1D with their first full-length post-Zayn Malik. If you feel strongly either way, you should probably let us know via this poll right here. In a recent vid, it looks like Bieber is voting for himself. Watch it here.
With a camera held low focusing on his upper torso, Biebs says, "The face you make when you come out with an album the same day as Justin Bieber" before making a mostly scared, slightly disgusted expression. It seems more hilarious than mean, ya know?
